How to play roulette

Roulette is one of the best games in the casino, it’s easy to learn and to learn and exciting to play. There are two main types of roulette tables, American and European, and the difference is that the American roulette has one extra number, it has a new so-called double zero and thirty-eight number in total. It offers slightly worse odds for the player and the same pay out as the European roulette, so it is always preferred to play on a single-zero European roulette. It has 37 numbers, from 0 to 36, the point of the game is to predict the number that will come in the next spin simple as that.

Getting to know the odds

If you place a chip straight up on a single number and if that number wins the next time then you are paid 36 times for the original bet. If you bet 10 US dollars on a bet and if you win, you will be paid 360 US dollars, but it is quite hard to predict the exact number where the ball will land. The solution to this is to wager more than one number with just one chip when you bet on many numbers, the probability of winning a bet increases but at the same time, your pay out decreases accordingly. The beauty of the roulette is that the player can choose from a multitude of wagers with different odds and pay-outs. Let’s take a look at the roulette table layout and see how various multinumber bets can be placed. On a table, there are six outside bets because they are placed outside of the grid for the 36 numbers; each of these bets includes 18 numbers and has roughly had a 50/50 chance to win. These bets are divided into red and black numbers, odd and even numbers, low and high numbers which constitute of 1-18 and 19-36 respectively. You can risk any of these bets with a chance to double your money.
